Ford F-150 2wd 2004- Bench Brake Lathe Adapter

Here is an email from Harry Ludlow of Tire Discounters about a bench brake lathe adapter to machine rotors 2004- Ford F150 . With a lot of fleets buying the 2WD version of the F150, you may find yourself in the same position.
But, I hate to say this, buying an on-the-car-lathe maybe a better long-term solution for dealing with trucks with integral bearing/captured rotors.
The GM Canyon and Colorado useing the same set-up.

Dear BRAKE & FRONT END,

At some point last year I saw an ad in your magazine from a brake lathe manufacturer that featured an adapter for the 2004 and up Ford F150 2WD brake rotor with an integral bearing. The adapter allowed the rotor to be turned on a bench lathe. I am hoping that someone at your organization can provide me with contact information for that manufacturer.

Thanks

Harry Ludlow

If you neglect to look after your car and follow all the proper maintenance protocols you could find yourself going to your local engine repair shop more frequently than you’d like. It’s surprisingly easy to prevent vehicle and engine failure, just make sure you understand what to keep an eye out for. Click here for more info http://www.drbrakesusa.com/repairs-services/.
