A woman tried using a fake muffler to smuggle drugs into the US. But it didn't work.
The 27-year-old Reynosa resident tried to drive an SUV across the Progreso International Bridge. Agents noticed the muffler wasn't hot. They quickly ordered a secondary inspection and found a hidden compartment behind the fake muffler.
Agents seized 48 pounds of cocaine.
