I love this time of year. I took this picture at Mid Ohio last week and it reminds me that the world is a wonderful place. The sky is blue, the car is fast and the track is open. This Saturday night, I am going to try to make it out to a dirt track to watch a race. This time of year is magical.
The car is a copy of a Lotus 7 chassis with a Stuart Taylor racing body. It is powered by a 900cc motorcycle engine.

ReplyDeleteThat's a long throw from a BABE Rally Rambler. I'm waiting for an ice racing story-- maybe a 3-wheeled car from Michigan. Until then, I hope to be racing my re-creation of a Works MG Midget enduro car at Beaver Run in July, Grattan in August, and MidOhio in October. Come on by!
